ruby and sawyer monday night madness

the kids had a great time playing tonight after dinner and after ruby's bath. sawyer is pushing cars around like a little mad man and will stand by himself for short moments, balancing... ruby said something recently after someone joked around with her.. she said, "are you punching my leg?"... meaning .. are you pulling my leg?.. funny ... sawyer is eating more big people food. bananas, cheese, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches.... ruby just got over another ear infection, so nice to have her not in pain. they are fast asleep. gnite and sweet dreams little ones.

today i took the kids on a long stroller ride to peninsula park to get some fresh air. we needed it after saturday in the house day of doing laundry etc. it was a real nice day, a bit cool but nothing a blanket can't fix. it can be tiring at times on the weekends when amy is working but i get all the attention from the kids for two solid days,.. other days when momma's home i'm not so lucky since they both want amy 24/7 when she is here! :-) at any rate,. another great day with ruby and sawyer.. thanks kids for being so much fun and for filling my heart with all of your love and poopy diapers and temper tantrums! i can't wait for the next round of em because you make them worth all the while.
