ruby is becoming such a big beautiful little girl!.. i've noticed small changes in her face, losing her baby face more and more.. it is always fun to look back at her photos from when she was under 2 years of age. now here we are, 2008 and she will be turning 5 on july 3rd!.. five. how cool. that's the age when i can pull my earliest memories from my head. me remembering my childhood excites me to see her grow through her childhood. such a wonderful and complex stage of life. keep on living how you are living ruby. you truly are rad. i've said it before and i'll say it many more times!

sawyer is quite the character.. he is starting to understand when we don't want him to get into something or stand on the ledge of something.. a few quick no no no's an he'll just look and you and move along. he has a little sense of humor developing also... says mama real good.. dada once and awhile.. funny little laugh when you tickle him. at any rate.. he will be 15 months old on the 18th of this month.. getting big!

we spent a week in los cabos while amy's parents watched the kids in portland.. it was a very fun place to vacation... warm weather, dry climate, whales all over the place... as usual though, by the end of the week we were very eager to get back to see the kids!
